Authors Ann Rodriguez and Viney Chadha of GE Capital cover the creation of an integrated KRI Framework that can be used both as an essential component of the overall Risk Management Framework, and as a tool to assist management in the day-to-day control of their business. The authors demonstrate how an integrated KRI framework fits into a strong enterprise risk management framework.
Key Risk Indicators are the metrics identified to support proactive risk management. When implemented as a part of an integrated enterprise risk management framework, KRIs are critical to informing management of direction of the risk profile in relation to the risk appetite of a firm.
