Diane Maurice, Jack Freund and David Fairman

Ms. Diane R. Maurice has over 25 years’ recent experience as both a banking supervisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and San Francisco and as an international commercial and investment banker in New York, San Francisco and London. Her experience includes both Resolution Planning and Stress Testing. Ms. Maurice has two advanced degrees including a Master’s from the London School of Economics where she completed work towards a PhD on the Basel Accord.

Dr. Jack Freund has worked in technology and risk for 18 years where he has specialized in cyber risk. Jack's book on quantifying risk (Measuring and Managing Information Risk: A FAIR Approach) was inducted into the Cybersecurity Canon in 2016. Jack’s writings have appeared in the ISSA Journal and he writes a column for the @ISACA newsletter.

Currently, Jack is Senior Manager, Cyber Risk Framework at TIAA and has served on the ISACA CRISC working group since the certification’s inception. 

David Fairman is the Chief Information Security Officer for the Royal Bank of Canada.  In this role he is responsible for the strategy, oversight and governance for Information Security and Cyber Security globally across RBC.  Prior to joining RBC, David was with JP Morgan Chase & Co holding the positions of Deputy Technology Controls Officer and Global Head of Technology Risk and Control Practices. Prior to JPMC, David was with RBS, holding several roles including CISO RBS Americas and Head of Information Security EMEA.
