Motor Research Report

By Michèle Bacchus

Overview

With trials of driverless car fleets now occupying our national roads, the motor sector is getting an upgrade like never before. As fraudulent claims continue to accelerate and while premiums pay the price, new entrants are causing insurers to tighten their seat belts in the race for consumer loyalty.

What is really driving the motor industry today? Insurance Post decided to take a closer look with its ‘Motor Research Report’.

e-Book description

Between February and March 2017, subscription members of Post, together with those who follow the magazine on social media, were invited to take part in a survey relating to the motor industry. Respondents were given 33 closed questions and asked either to rank options in order of importance or choose between. Some questions allowed for comment to be made, and most of these are included within our report.

The information given by the respondents was treated in strict confidence and collated to present an overview of the issues facing the sector now and in the future. Post’s report is based on the results taken from the complete responses of 147 respondents.

At the same time as the market survey, Post also commissioned Consumer Intelligence to take a shorter survey of 12 questions to the public. A total of 1069 members of the public from across the country submitted responses, which were treated anonymously.

Based on the research findings, Insurance Post’s 40 page ‘Motor Research Report’ is now available to purchase.
